7. Is it a fair test? To make it a fair test, what factors
are you going to keep the same?
8. How are you going to make sure they stay the same?
9. Have you made your plan completely safe? Do you
need adult supervision?
Observing and Measuring
10. What materials and equipment will you need? Make
a list and check each item off as you gather them.
11. How are you going to use the materials?
12. Think about how many readings you will want to take
and do you have enough of everything needed?
Recording and Presenting
13. What is the best method for recording your finding?
(Using
a Table, a Line Graph, a Bar Chart or a Pie Chart?
Concluding and Evaluating
14. What do your results show you? Do you have a
pattern in your results and if so can you explain it? Are
my result reliable?
15. Do you need to try this investigation again to be sure
your conculsion is right? Was this the best way to do the investigation?
16. Was this the best set up for this investigation or do
you need to make it better?
17. After doing this investigation do you have any new
ideas of how you would like to change your investigation?
18. Do you have an idea for another investigation?
Communication
19. Will you tell other people about your investigation?
If yes, you could produce a report, draw diagrams, put in on a
flyer or poster.
